Regular grass cutting is essential for maintaining a healthy and aesthetic lawn. The frequency of mowing depends on the season - in spring it may be necessary more often, even several times a week, while in summer the grass growth rate slows down.

Things to remember:

  • Don't cut too much at once - you should remove no more than 1/3 of the blade's length at a time. If the grass is too tall, it's better to cut it gradually.

  • The optimal height after mowing is about 3–4 cm.

  • Mowing should be done with sharp equipment – blunt blades tear the blades, which can cause them to turn yellow and become susceptible to disease.

  • Always mow dry – wet grass sticks together and reacts poorly to cutting.

  • Collecting the clippings in the mower bag is recommended, especially if you do not mow often.

  • Mulching , or leaving clippings, only works when mowing frequently. It is not recommended to mulch in the fall, as it can encourage the growth of fungi.
